The streets were alive last night for the MET Costume Institute Gala 2012 in New York City for the "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" exhibit.

Peplum was a huge trend on the red carpet.

I'm sorry but Beyonce looks like a figure skater at the Olympics in this Givenchy Haute Couture dress and Gwyneth Paltrow's Prada dress looks like something i'd make in a 8th grade sewing class. No bueno
